Download the simulator for Windows
The M/T KEN VILLAMOR Liquid Cargo & Ballast Simulator runs offline on any Windows 10 or 11 PC. Updating takes about 5 minutes, and your licence key and settings are kept.

How to install or update
- Download the new version
Press ⬇ Download for Windows above. Wait until the download is finished.
If the download page says “can't scan this file for viruses”, press Download anyway — the file is too big for the online virus scan; it is safe.
- Join the parts (one time)
Google Drive gives you the folder as one zip file (for example MTKV Windows app update …zip). Right-click it → Extract All… → Extract.
In the folder that opens, double-click JOIN ME - Windows app.bat. A black window joins the parts into the simulator zip and shows two codes — they must be the same. Press any key to close it.
If Windows asks about the .bat file, click More info → Run anyway. It only joins the parts (you can open it with Notepad to see).
- Close the simulator If the MTKV Simulator is open, close it. Check that it is no longer shown on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen.
- Unzip the file Open your Downloads folder. Right-click the file MTKV_Simulator_Windows.zip and choose Extract All…, then press Extract. A new folder opens with a folder named MTKV Simulator inside.
- Replace the old folder
Go to the place where your old MTKV Simulator folder is (for example Documents or Desktop). Rename the old folder to MTKV Simulator OLD (or delete it), then move the new MTKV Simulator folder into the same place.
Your licence key, ship settings and records are stored by Windows separately from this folder — they stay when you replace it.
- Put the folder in a good place Move the MTKV Simulator folder to Documents (or any place you like). Do not run it from inside the zip file.
- Start the simulator
Open the MTKV Simulator folder and double-click MTKV Simulator.exe.

Run anyway - Make a desktop shortcut Right-click MTKV Simulator.exe → Show more options (Windows 11) → Send to → Desktop (create shortcut). Delete the old shortcut first if you had one.
- Enter your licence key In the simulator press 🔑 ACTIVATE KEY (or Menu → Licence), paste the key we sent you, type your name or school, tick I agree and press Activate. Cargo handling works without a key.
- Check the version The window title shows the version, for example MTKV Simulator — V1.1 update 7. You are done — you can delete the downloaded zip file and the old folder.
📱 iPhone or iPad?
Open the simulator in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
Android: open it in Chrome, tap ⋮, then Add to Home screen.
Questions
How do I know when there is a new version?
From V1.1 update 7 the simulator tells you itself: when the PC is online it checks this page once at start-up and shows “Update available” with a button to these instructions. Nothing is sent from your PC — the simulator only reads the version number. You can also check this page at any time.
Will I lose my licence or my work?
No. Your licence key, settings and saved records are stored by Windows in your user profile, not in the simulator folder. Replacing the folder keeps them. Do not use “Reset” inside the simulator unless you want to start over.
Windows says the file is dangerous or blocks it
Use More info → Run anyway. If your school's antivirus blocks it, ask the IT person to allow MTKV Simulator.exe from Rigel Marine Solution. You can check the file with the code below.

Can I use it without installing anything?
Yes — open rigelmarinesolution.com/simulator in Chrome or Edge. On a phone or tablet you can add it to the home screen; it updates by itself and shows “New version ready — Restart now” when an update arrives.
The simulator does not start / shows a white screen
Make sure you extracted the zip (step 3) and are not running it from inside the zip. Restart the PC and try again. If it still does not start, send us a photo of the screen.
