- Crew document & data validation, so a seafarer’s details can be checked, and manning agencies can review or validate documents easily in the room they buy.
- Room admin page for each paid room, listing the crew who subscribed to that room, so the agency or training centre can see and use their shared crew data for hiring or training. That data is shared only with that room’s admin, never with the public group.
- Easy crew document upload, so seafarers can submit their papers and the room admin can review those files.
- Print crew documents: room admins can print a crew member’s documents, or a printable document pack, from the admin page.
- Document expiry dates, worked out and shown for each paper, so agencies can see which crew documents are still valid and which need renewal.
- Red “for renewal” alerts: document expiry indicators turn red 9 months before expiration and show the words “for renewal”, so the crew member and the room admin can see the renewal coming early.
How documents will work: a seafarer, for example a master, uploads his documents once and Rigel keeps them on file. When a manning agency hires him, they can see he is document-ready and review or print his papers from their room’s admin page, without asking him for the files again. This is planned and is not available yet.
